Remember Cindy Lou Who, from Jim Carrey's How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000)? Well, Taylor Momsen has grown up.

I have been waiting since 2014 to shoot the Pretty Reckless. I didn’t know the procedure back then to get photo credentials even after shooting The UpRoar Festival 3 times. I read you could bring a camera, if you purchased a VIP pass. Well you can't bring a $6000 Nikon and I got caught with it!

Now that I know what I am doing FINALLY, 8 years later, I got to shoot The Pretty Reckless who was opening for Shinedown.

I do not know why they opened with Soundgarden’s, Loud Love, in their 8 song set when they have plenty of their own hits. We did get to hear the newer tune, Death by Rock and Roll, off the same titled last album.

They put on a great show and I can't wait until they are back as a headliner performing a longer set like when I saw them as an up and coming national band.
