This was a great show as expected from the recent Grammy nominated duo in the Best Contemporary Instrumental Album category.

The duo consists of Kev Marcus (Kevin Sylvester) on theviolin, and Wil B (Wilner Baptiste) on theviola. ​

They have known and played with each other for over 18 years. According to Kev, they met back in high school at the age of 15.  

Wil B also on the vocals for some of their songs and on their album, Take the Stairs and their Christmas album, Give Thanks.

Mid show Kev shared with us that they play a freestyle that is different for every show. We were asked to record and post it tagging them. I recorded it and it was over nine minutes long. If you wish to see it, click here. ​

Kev gave the music students (and all attendees) in the audience advice to practice, practice, practice and pursue your dreams whatever they are. Sounds like solid advice to me!!!
